I am not certain that the person selling the above print is correct in her identification of the artist. Still, I have searched and cannot find any other information on A. Pingot. I have come across several other similar lithos ... though they are in no way ubiquitous. I would like to know, with some certainty, the full name of the artist. Learning the dates active, and any other biographical information would be a plus!

It may be helpful, for dating purposes, to mention that my print is in an antique oval hardwood frame with convex glass that has simple carving and minimal gilding over gesso that shows some crazing. The paper backing to the frame is browned and brittle.
